Things to sew for the 4th of July

Are you like me and feeling like school is almost done and it’ll be 4th of July before we know it?

I’ve rounded up some super fun sewing ideas to get you and your home ready for the 4th!

If you like quilted throw pillows, you’ve got to see from Carrie Wilson on the modafabrics.com site. She did a set in red and navy but then also in pink and a chambray blue. I love how you can use red, white and blue and use just about any cute pattern to feel patriotic. Take a look at this perfect example. Fat Quarter Shop offers a great free pattern for this “Wave Your Flag” Table runner if you’re looking for a quicker project.
